The summer season is fast approaching which means the summer real estate season is coming up.

There is speculation about how the summer real estate season will be and also how the country will progress as more people get vaccinated and restrictions are lifted.

U.S. News & World Report has come up with some expectations for summer 2021.

They are predicting that interest rates may rise somewhat, however, they will still stay relatively low.

Another prediction is that home inventory will go up, but there will still be a shortage of supply and the market will remain a seller’s market.

They also expect homebuying to still remain most active in the suburbs, however, interest in city living will increase a little.

Even though there is rental assistance that will help with evictions, they are still predicting that the economic impact of the pandemic will last for a longer time.
